Belleville East Creek Sewer Separation Project This is a Sources Sought Notice. This Sources Sought neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify interested Contractors within the District area for the Scope of Work listed below. The following are general capabilities required to perform the Scope of Work according to USACE standards. The Contractor must be capable to perform the Scope of Work listed below. The anticipated contract type will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price Contract, with a three (3) year ordering period. Work associated with this requirement shall take place city limits of Belleville, Illinois. General Project Description The work covered by this contract consist of furnishing all plant, equipment, labor, professional engineering services, supplies, materials, supervision, and performing all operations required for construction of storm and sanitary sewers, detention basins, and related work in a mostly residential neighborhood. The work generally includes furnishing labor, materials, and equipment to install approximately 13,100 linear feet of 15-inch to 72-inch diameter storm sewer, 2,000 feet of 12-inch and 18-inch diameter sanitary sewer, 153 storm and sanitary structures, two detention ponds, and related work including tree removal, pavement removal, concrete and asphalt pavement patching, sidewalks and ADA ramps, pavement marking, fencing, site restoration, seeding, traffic control, and material testing. The work is to be completed mostly within the city limits of Belleville, Illinois, in an area generally bounded by Richland Creek on the northwest, Metrolink tracks on the southwest, A and B streets on the southeast, and West Boulevard and Old Collinsville Road on the northeast. Contract Areas and Construction Limits: The primary contract areas are located within the vicinity of the city limits of Belleville, Illinois. Capability Statements Provide past experience within the last 5 years for projects of similar complexity and magnitude, referenced projects shall be in excess of $1 million. Briefly explain your capabilities and how you would execute this project. Provide features of work that would be self-performed as well as features that would sub-contracted out. Submission 1.
