Description: This is a Sources Sought Notice. This Sources Sought neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify interested Contractors within the District area for the Scope of Work listed below. The following are general capabilities required to perform the Scope of Work according to USACE standards. The Contractor must be capable to perform the Scope of Work listed below. General Project Description: Located throughout the Rend Lake Benton, IL. Work under this contract may be at any location within the Rend Lake Project Boundary shown on Appendix B. The majority of work performed will be within recreation areas at Rend Lake as shown on Appendix A and B at the end of these specifications. The following is a list of recreation areas where work may be performed: A. North Sandusky B. South Sandusky C. Dam West D. Administration Bldg. /Maintenance Area E. Spillway F. South Marcum G. North Marcum H. Gun Creek I. Ina Boat Ramp Area J. Turnip Patch Boat Ramp Area K. Jackie Branch Boat Ramp Area L. Hunter Fisherman Lots (25) M. All Government owned lands on the Rend Lake project Work Statement: This is an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, supplies and material to perform rehabilitation of recreation areas and facility maintenance as specified in delivery orders issued against this contract. Functions to be covered by this contract: 1. Grubbing 2. Site Grading 3. Fill 4. Establishment of turf 5. Tree Maintenance 6. Placement of various stone and rip rap 7. Placement of bedding material 8. Concrete installation and removal 9. Concrete Dome Post Installation 10. Entrance gate repair and replacement 11. Handrail replacement and repair 12. Timber placement and removal 13. Grill replacement and repair 14. Sign placement and removal 15. Metal and shingle roof replacement 16. Painting 17. Various coating placement on various surfaces 18. Water removal 19. Sewer and water line tapping 20. Manhole installation 21. Gravity sewer installation 22. Underground water line repairs 23. Pressure sewer force mail installation 24. General plumbing and electrical repair 25. Dock Repair 26. Various heavy equipment operations This is not a complete list of requirements, these will be provided by the scope of work released at the time of the RFP. This is, however, a list of many of the required actions required under this contract. SOURCES SOUGHT: NAICS CODE: 237310 Highway, Street and Bridge Construction SIZE STANDARD: $36.5 Million CONTRACT ESTIMATED RANGE: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: Any solicitation for the nature of work described in this sources sought is subject to the availability of funds. Should funding become available the Government will use responses to this notice as Market Research to develop an acquisition strategy. Any solicitation(s) for this type of work will be made public as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation at the Government Point of Entry (www.fbo.gov).
