Repair of Tainter gates includes installation of chain guides on gates, repair of cracks in skin plate, removal and replacement of damaged end shields, replacement of damaged bottom strut on Gate 3, repair of damage to skin plate from existing chains, interior member replacement, rivet replacement, and painting of the gates. Bridge Repairs consists bearing shoe bolt replacement, gusset plate removal and replacement, replacement of crane rail clips and w alkw ay grating, and painting of service Bridge. All w ork w ill be performed via floating plant w ith Bulkheads installed by the Government.

The SBA size standard is $36.5 Million. The magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000.00. Postal service copies are required. Electronic copies are not permitted. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 08 November 2019.
