This is a Sources Sought solicitation of interest, it is to be used for Market Research purposes only, gauging the capabilities of vendors to meet the following requirements, for the assembly of a 43L x 11W x 10H "P" series Pallet Storage Locker 144 Drum Pallet Hazardous Material Building with 36P Swinging Door and crane lifting package that is rated to lift and move 26,730 lbs. The contractor shall inspect, preserve and deliver items listed in schedule of supplies / service (Section B) in strict accordance with this specification. C-2.1 MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION: The Hazardous Material Building must consist of weather-proof construction that meets or exceeds UL 263 and ASTM E119 standards. P-SERIES PALLETIZED HAZARDOUS MATERIAL STORAGE LOCKER SPECIFICATIONS: - First tier secondary containment sumps - Pallet loading supports - Exterior grounding connection - Open channel base construction for visual inspection - Air vents - Upper tier secondary containment - DOT Hazard Classification placard with aluminum holder and clips - Explosion proof C-2.2: PACKING: All items shall be packed in a manner in which will insure arrival at destination in a satisfactory condition and will be acceptable to the carrier at lowest rate. Packing shall comply with freight classification rules or other carrier regulations as applicable to the mode of transportation. Surfaces requiring protection against abrasion shall be suitably protected. Contractor to be responsible for delivery of such items.
