The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, seeks to purchase 118 Fresh/Intermediate Marsh mitigation bank credits to compensate for habitat impacts from the Morganza to the Gulf project in the Louisiana Coastal Zone. The credits must be for the specific habitat type and come from an approved bank physically located within the Deltaic Plain's specified Hydrologic Unit Codes. Proposals will be evaluated using a lowest-price technically acceptable process, and the government may enter into one or more contracts subject to funding availability. A Request for Proposal is anticipated to be issued on or about April 30, 2026. Performance is tied to the location of the eligible mitigation banks within the Louisiana Deltaic Plain.
