This project involves providing a fully crewed and equipped cutterhead dredge with a discharge size of 30 inches or greater for maintenance dredging along the Mississippi River from Baton Rouge to the Gulf, specifically in the Southwest Pass area and possibly other parts of the New Orleans District. The estimated construction cost is between $10 million and $25 million. The work will be performed at the Mississippi River Southwest Pass Area. A bid opening date will be established later via an amendment. Prospective bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
