INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. NAICS 238160, Roofing Contractors. The solicitation number, W912P825R0005, will issue as a Request for Proposal (RFP) resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. Actual issue date and anticipated proposal due date will be shown when the solicitation is issued. All qualified business concerns may submit offers. Offers from large business firms must comply with FAR 19.7 and FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan. The work consists of demolition and removal of the existing roof; including placing cast in-place concrete, precast concrete roof fill; installing post installed concrete anchors, cold-formed metal framing, structural steel, roof and deck insulation, metal wall panels; construction of modified bituminous membrane roofing, PMMA fluid-applied roofing, and standing seam metal roofing system; installation of flashing and sheet metal, sealants, steel doors and frames, hardware, metal wall louvers, plumbing, lightning protection system; and other work incidental thereto. The estimated value of this work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
