INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Project Labor Agreements (PLA) are required on construction projects with a value of $35,000,000 or more; however, for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts, PLAs are only requested at the task order level, should a task order be awarded in an amount that exceeds the $35,000,000 threshold. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. NAICS Code is 237990. The solicitation, W912P824B0024, is anticipated to issue as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The resulting contract shall be a firm fixed-price (FFP) procurement. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 19, 2024, and a bid opening date will be on or about May 20, 2024. Description of Work: The work consists of various types of stone placement along the banks of the Mississippi River (Miles 325.8 to 0.0 AHP), Atchafalaya River (Miles 0.0 to 137.0), Red River (Miles 6.0 to 11.0), and Old River Control Channels. (The estimated time of completion not to exceed 730 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The solicitation will include 11 drawings and specifications). The estimated magnitude of construction for this work is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. All qualified business concerns may submit bids. Please note, bids received from large business firms must comply with FAR 19.7 and FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan.
