The work consists of clearing and grubbing, soil preloading, wick drain installation, placing sand fill, high strength geotextile, and compacted clay embankment; construction of a temporary retaining structure and dewatering system; construction of a drainage structure with slide gates; driving steel sheet piling, steel H-piles, and precast/prestressed concrete piles; constructing reinforced concrete T-type floodwall, a precast concrete access bridge; surfaced access roads and ramps; excavating drainage canals; fertilizing, seeding and mulching; and all other work incidental thereto.
