INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE This solicitation, W912P823B0037, will be issued as Invitation for Bid (IFB) and resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about 2nd Qtr, FY 2023. Actual issue date and anticipated bid opening will be shown when the solicitation is issued. The work consists of clearing and grubbing, placing sand fill, separator fabric, ~735,000 cy of compacted clay embankment, constructing access road along protected side of levee berm, excavating for drainage canals, driving piles, dynamic pile analysis (PDA testing), a temporary restraining structure, a concrete drainage structure that includes four 10’x10’ sluice gates, floodwalls, placing culverts, access road construction, fertilizing, turf establishment and all other work incidental thereto. The work will be located in St. John the Baptist Parish, the vicinity of Laplace, LA (Note: zip codes include but is not limited to 70068 and 70069). The estimated construction magnitude is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The Government anticipates this solicitation will be unrestricted. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990 with a size standard of $45M. Any responsible source meeting the required standards may submit a bid to be considered by the New Orleans District. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.
