This solicitation, WSLP-107, is being issued as Invitation for Bid (IFB) and resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The work consists of clearing and grubbing, placing sand fill, separator fabric, and compacted clay embankment, constructing access road along protected side of levee berm, excavating for drainage canals, placing culverts, access road construction, fertilizing, turf establishment and all other work incidental thereto. It is located in St. John the Baptist Parish in the vicinity of Garyville, LA. The estimated value of this work is between $25,000,000 and $50,000,000. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on SAM (www.sam.gov).
