The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has the following requirement: Sand Placement Contract #2 (SP2) consists of clearing and grubbing, stump removal, placement of sand fill to EL. +3.0 in a marshy area, three canal crossings, one pipeline crossing, and other incidental work. The base contract is 58505LF, Option 1 is 1550 LF, and Option 2 is 3289 LF, for a total of 10689 LF if all options are exercised. The width of the sand placement is 100 LF. An access road needs to be built north and south of Frenier Road: 43 LF on the north side and 80 LF on the south side. In accordance with DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of the work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Amendment: Sand Placement Contract #2 (SP2) is being changed from a Request for Proposal (RFP) to an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The new Solicitation Number will be W912P822B0030.
