The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has the following requirement: DESCRIPTION WORK: Sand Placement Contract #1 (SP1) consists of clearing and grubbing, stump removal, placement of sand fill to EL. +3.0 in a marshy area, and other incidental work. The base contract is 3075LF, Option 1 is 1540 LF, and Option 2 is 1335 LF, for a total of 5950 LF if all options are exercised. West Shore Lake Pontchartrain Access Road “J” off HWY 61 (between the Bonnet Carre Spillway and HWY 51) will be utilized for access to SP1. In accordance with DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Amendment: Sand Placement Contract #1 (SP1) is being changed from a Request for Proposal (RFP) to an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The new Solicitation Number will be W912P822B0029.
