NAICS Code: 237990. The solicitation number, W912P822B0071, will issue as Invitation for Bid (IFB) resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about 24 August 2022. Actual issue date and anticipated bid opening will be shown when the solicitation is issued. The work consists of removal of material from within the Calcasieu River Ship Channel; satisfactory disposal of a portion of the material to be placed within Long Point Bayou and BUDMAT sites, and disposal of the remainder of the material in the designated Confined Disposal Facilities adjacent to the Calcasieu River and Pass; all as shown on the drawings. Removal of material from within Devil’s Elbow is included as optional work. The work also includes retention dike construction, surveys, optional ditching and draining of disposal areas, and all operations incidental thereto. The estimated value of this work is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
