The work consists of removal of stone from an existing dike to create fishery access (fish dips) along the shoreline of Lake Pontchartrain at the Manchac Wilderness Management Area, construct stone breakwaters at each fish dip to minimize erosion, and construct stone spur dikes at each end of the existing dike. The work also includes surveys, and all operations incidental thereto. The estimated value of this work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
