NAICS Code: 237990. The solicitation number, W912P821R0050, will issue as Request for Proposal (RFP), resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about 16 August 2021. Proposal due date will be shown when the solicitation is issued. The work consists of placement of new large jetty stone for repairs to the existing Calcasieu River East and West Jetties and all associated incidental work, as shown on the contract drawings. Construction activity requires ability to work in often hostile Gulf of Mexico environment while maintaining safety with quick transport of all plant and barges as needed to maintain safe conditions the Contractor including all users in the adjacent Calcasieu Ship Channel. The estimated value of this work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation.
