The bid abstract has been added to this record. ____________________________________________ The work consists of removal of material from within the Calcasieu River Ship Channel, the Clooney Island Loop Channel, the turning basing at mile 36.0 of the main channel, and satisfactory disposal within the designated Confined Disposal Facilities adjacent to the Calcasieu River and Pass; all as shown on the drawings. Removal of material from within Devil’s Elbow, the A4 Turning Basin, and reaches from the main channel, is included as optional work. The work also includes retention dike construction, surveys, and optional ditching and draining of disposal areas, and all operations incidental thereto.
