FURNISH ALL EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, SUPPLIES, PERSONNEL AND LABOR NECESSARY TO PROVIDE FLOATING PLANT ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, has a requirement for floating dock engine and transmission services as specified in the attached solicitation W912P820Q0029. Solicitation Number W912P820Q0029 is being issued as a Small Business Set Aside under a Request for Quote (RFQ) with the intent to issue Blanket Purchase Agreements under FAR Part 13.303. The Government anticipates awarding one or more five (5) year BPA’s from this solicitation from which future BPA calls will be placed. BPA’s will be awarded to responsible contractors whose offer conforms to the solicitation and has the lowest reasonable price. The BPA will have an estimated $3,000,000.00 ceiling. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clause are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular (FAC) 2005-97. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611– Ship Building and Repairing, with a size standard of 1,250 employees. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with regulations at FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
