The work also includes retention dike construction, surveys, optional ditching and draining of disposal areas, and all operations incidental thereto. INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. NAICS Code: 237990. This solicitation, W912P820B0048, is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The resulting contract shall be a firm fixed price (FFP) Contract Award. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10 August 2020. The anticipated bid opening date is set for 09 September 2020; however, actual date of bid opening will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date. All qualified business concerns may submit offers. Offers from large business firms must comply with FAR 19.7 and FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers FY 20 subcontracting goals are for specified percentages of the contractor's total planned subcontracting amount to be placed with the following: Small Business 44.92%; Small Disadvantaged Business 13.25%; Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business 8.00%; Woman Owned Small Business 7.87%; and HUBZONE Small Business 12.00%.
