The work consists of floodwall installation on the left descending (east) bank of the Mississippi River from B/L Station 46+60.00 to B/L Station 80+52.00. The proposed work requires construction of conventional reinforced concrete “T” walls, and a reinforced concrete base slab for installation of deployable floodwall system. There will be approximately 1,725 feet (350.5 m) of deployable floodwall system. There will be approximately 1,465 feet of concrete “T” wall, including 525 feet (160.0 m) of 3.5 foot (1.0 m) high concrete "T" wall, 620 feet (188.9 m) of 5.0 foot (1.5 m) high concrete "T" wall, and 1,125 feet (342.9 m) of 6.5-foot (1.9 m) high concrete "T" wall.
