NAICS Code: 237990. This solicitation, W912P819B0039, is anticipated to issue as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The solicitation will issue on or about 15 April 2019. The anticipated bid opening date will be on or about 15 May 2019, however, actual date of bid opening will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date. All qualified business concerns may submit offers. Offers from large business firms must comply with FAR 19.7 and FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan. The work consists of flotation dredging for site access, performing repairs to existing foreshore dikes along the Calcasieu River and adjacent to CDFs D, E and H (Base work), and adjacent to CDFs 17, 19, 22, and Dugas Landing sites "A", "B" and "B-1"(Optional Work Items), as well as the optional installation of armoring with a geotextile fabric base along the left descending bank line of the channel between CDFs 17 and 19, and all associated incidental work. The stone top size is 2200# with placement along the Calcasieu River between miles 20 and 8.5 in the vicinity of Calcasieu Lake. The estimated value of this work is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation.
