Description and Magnitude of Work is as follows: The work consists of casting articulate concrete mattress at St. Francisville Casting Yard, St. Francisville, LA. The estimated time of completion is 275 calendar days for base plus optional work after receipt of notice to proceed. The solicitation will include 6 drawings and specifications. The estimated value of this work is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. This is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside procurement. NAICS Code is 327390 which has a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is being procured as a supply contract under FAR 14, Sealed Bidding. This solicitation is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and the resulting contract shall be firm fixed price (FFP). The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 26 February 2019; and, a bid opening date will be established in the solicitation. The bidding instructions and closing date for submission of bids will be contained in the solicitation notice. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored.
