INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS SYNOPSIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. This procurement is set aside for 100% Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Businesses only. Solicitation Number W912P822B0042 is anticipated to be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). NAICS Code is 237990. The resulting contract shall be a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The solicitation is anticipated to issue on or about 3 May 2022. The bid opening date is anticipated to be on or about 2 June 2022; however, the actual date of bid opening will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date. Bidder(s) must be registered as a HUBZone certified firm with the Small Business Administration at the time of bid submission to be considered for award. The work consists of clearing, degrading existing levee, driving sheet pile, plugging a sand boil, placing embankment, and surfacing material, turf establishment, and other incidental work. (The estimated time of completion is 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will include 15 drawings and specifications). The estimated magnitude of construction for this work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments.
