This acquisition is for a construction based, firm-fixed price contract for a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility. The contractor shall provide all work included in the operations required to repair the damaged fence and guardrails at Charenton Flood Gate, St. Mary Parish, LA. This solicitation is for all work and operations required to repair the damaged fence and guardrails at Charenton Flood Gate, St Mary Parish, LA. The scope of work includes: a. Remove and dispose approximately 490 sq.ft. damaged section of existing chain link fence including damaged fence posts. b. Install approximately 490 sq.ft. chain link fence, two 3" posts, required braced rails for corner post and tie to the existing fence. The new fence shall be the same type and the same material as the existing fence. Install approximately 60 ft. of 3- strand barbed wire. c. Install approximately 9 ft. guardrail w/ attached signs. d. Replace 2 flared ends on the existing guardrails. e. Install 2 object markers at the guardrail ends. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to accomplish the requirements in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for construction prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. See attached Solicitation and attachments for details. Solicitation No. W912P8-19-R-0044 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) with the intent to award one firm-fixed price contract. The solicitation will be competed as 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237310 for Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a small business size standard of $36.5 Million in average annual receipts. This acquisition will be provided to the vendor whose quote is the Lowest Priced of those determined to be Technically Qualified. Solicitation Requirements: Reference the Statement of Work posted at the bottom of this announcement. The government intends to make one single award for one lump sum. Offers for less than the required items will not be accepted. The Government intends to award without discussions while reserving the right to hold discussions if determined advantageous to the Government. Offerors are encouraged to provide their best proposed pricing in their initial offer. Site visit information: An Organized site visit has been scheduled for 09 April 2019 at 1000hours CST.
