The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has the following requirement: DESCRIPTION WORK: The work consists of excavating sand material from the Bonnet Carre spillway, hauling and stockpiling sand material in the U.S. Highway 61 stockpile area; clearing and grubbing vegetation from the stockpile area and other incidental work. Crushed stone roads will be constructed and maintained. Sand to be stockpiled is 750,000 cubic yards. In accordance with DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of the work is between $10 and $25 Million dollars. This procurement will require a bid bond, and payment and performance bonds to be provided shortly after award as will be stipulated in the Invitation for Bid. Bid opening will be conducted virtually. Amendments: 0001, issued 11/2/2020 to change bid opening date and update Site Visit POC 0002, issued 11/3/2020 to provide answer to industry question and set date for submission of questions
