This is a notice of intent for a future contract for operation and maintenance services at the Don Clausen and Coyote Valley fish hatcheries in California. The contractor must propagate, rear, and release 200,000 steelhead annually from each facility and handle the relocation of returning Chinook salmon. Additional duties include surveillance and support for a Coho salmon program. Capability statements from interested vendors are required for consideration, but this is not a formal solicitation. The Government may award the contract without competition if no compelling responses are received.
