CSSC Utility Feed Transformer Replacement
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, is conducting market research to identify capable small business contractors for the CSSC Utility Feed Transformer Replacement project and to inform acquisition strategy, including possible small business set-aside consideration. The work is a turnkey removal and disposal of two existing utility feed transformers and furnishing, installing, testing, and commissioning two new operational replacement transformers. Performance is at the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal Fish Dispersal Barrier facility in Lockport, Illinois, which operates continually to protect the Great Lakes from invasive species. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, rigging, and incidental services necessary to complete the replacement safely.
