Upper Des Plaines River and Tributaries Phase II Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration Phase II (AER) Project
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires a contractor to restore approximately 429 acres of natural habitats, including wetlands and prairies, in the Lake County Forest Preserve District. The work involves tasks like stream realignment, invasive species removal, and native plant establishment to improve biodiversity, water quality, and flood resilience. All services will be performed on lands owned by the Lake County Forest Preserve District. This opportunity is open to all responsible sources and is not set aside for small businesses. Interested vendors must be registered with sam.gov and the PIEE system to access the solicitation and submit a proposal.
