A couple more responses and an amendment are forthcoming.**This is a Solicitation for a Construction Project at the McCook Levee located in Summit, Illinois. **Description: The Construction work requires repair of existing steel sheet piles at an existing levee via installation of a concrete cap. It includes incidental related work such as erosion control and optional installation of a new safety fence. **The Government anticipates the project will begin in the Spring of 2024 and take less than 300 calendar days to complete. **The magnitude of the Construction Project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. **Set-Aside: This requirement is a total small business set-aside under the NAICS: 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a small business size standard of $45M. **The Government is using sealed bid procedures, under FAR 14; bidders will need to submit written bids via DoDs electronic Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system.
