U.S. Army Engineer District Chicago anticipates issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) solicitation. This is a Request for Quote (RFP) to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the Building Demo/Removal and restoration at the USACE Kewaunee Area Office. There are three (3) existing, currently unoccupied buildings (5503, 5504, and 5508) to be removed, including the foundation to a depth of one foot below the ground surface. Work includes abatement of asbestos and lead-based paint as needed, and the identification and proper disposal of old light fixtures, appurtenances, and existing building features as needed, according to drawings and statement of work. The anticipated duration of the contract is 3 months. The estimated solicitation issue date is on or around January 31, 2022. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code will be 238910, the size standard will be $16,500,000 and the Federal Supply Code (FSC) will be P400. The solicitation will be posted electronically at the Federal Business Opportunity website (http://www.sam.gov/). The anticipated award date of the contract is on or around March 18, 2022. The solicitation evaluation method will be Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. The evaluation criteria will be as follows: Price, Technical Capability, and Past Performance.
