More information will be contained within the amendment. ------------------------ PROJECT TITLE: Indiana Shoreline Erosion Project – Beach Nourishment Services This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to the provisions set forth by Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, “Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services.” INVITATION FOR BID: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District Office, located at 231 S. La Salle St, Suite 1500, Chicago, Illinois 60604, is seeking proposals from SMALL BUSINESSES to perform the work described herein. Note: The solicitation will be available on the web only. Faxed, telephoned, or mailed requests for this solicitation will not be honored. GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENT: The Government intends to award one (1) firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, resulting from this solicitation, to provide beach nourishment services for the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore located in Michigan City, Indiana, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The IDIQ contract resulting from this solicitation will have a maximum capacity of $15M. Additionally, this IDIQ will have a minimum guaranteed amount to which the Government hereby obligates itself to obtain no less than $10,000.00 in services under the resultant contract. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: This IDIQ contract will have a five (5) calendar year ordering period starting from Date of Award (DOA). COMPETITION: Competition for this acquisition is RESTRICTED to ELIGIBLE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The applicable Size Standard is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 484220 – Specialized Freight (except Used Goods), with a Small Business size standard of $30M. DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Chicago District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) W912P622B0014 for beach nourishment services to rebuild approximately 1,500 feet of beach front via sand delivery and placement for the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore located in Michigan City, Indiana. The Contract Duration is estimated at one thousand eight hundred twenty-five (1825) calendar days from date of award. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This IFB will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) commercial services Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a maximum capacity of $15M.
