DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Chicago District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) W912P622B0009 for Chicago Lock Sector Gates Operating Machinery. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: This IFB will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $39.5 million. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be listed as Full and Open Competition. SELECTION PROCESS: The bids will be evaluated based on the lowest priced complete offer submitted. DISCUSSIONS: The Government intends to award without discussions.
