Only two person per Offeror may be in attendance b. Offerors to arrive between 9:00 a.m.-9:15 a.m. (Central Time) to be escorted to the meeting location c. Personnel must travel through an active construction site to reach meeting location, therefore, ALL personnel must bring their own proper PPE to include hard hat, vest and construction boots to attend d. Offerors are expected to park off site The Pre-Proposal Meeting/Site Visit is scheduled for 10 August 2021. Due to COVID-19, Social Distancing Guidelines will be implemented and only two (2) representatives from each contractor will be able to attend the site visit. Parking is limited, and so please car pool, to ensure one vehicle/contractor. All attendees are required to meet in the parking lot at the Navy Pier at 10:00 a.m. (Central Time). Face Masks – 100% required. ******************************************PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING/SITE VISIT***************************** Under this Solicitation Notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District issues Solicitation No. W912P621R0010 for the purposes of receiving technical and price proposals. Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant Request for Proposals solicitation package for the construction project entitled, "CHICAGO HARBOR LOCK CHAMBER FLOOR AND WALL REPAIR, CHICAGO, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS." PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will be required to repair the chamber floor and wall at the Chicago Harbor Lock, Chicago, Illinois. The United States Army Corp of Engineers, Chicago District is preparing to conduct maintenance work on the floor and walls of the Chicago Lock Harbor. The purpose of the required maintenance work is to create a secure and durable floor and ensure the north and south walls will withstand forces from extreme weather and passing vessels. The floor and walls of the Chicago Harbor need rehabilitation to prevent further deterioration.
