Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant bid package for the construction project entitled, "Gary Sanitary District 27th and Chase Pump Station Force Main Replacement - Section 219, Gary, Lake County, Indiana (USACE Acquisition)." PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will replace approximately 700 linear feet of new 45” force main. The new force main will tie into the existing force main at the 27th and Chase Street Pump Station and be jack and bored under the I80/I294 Expressway and then installed by open cut excavation and reconnecting to the existing force main. This will allow future improvements to be performed on the rest of the existing force main.
