Under this notice, The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District (USACE) is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for crane inspections, repair services, parts lists, maintenance and repair procedures, maintenance and repair assistance and oversight, inspection and service reports, and supply of original equipment manufacturer or equivalent parts for a USACE-owned Manitowoc 3900W crane, S/N 395098 and a USACE-owned Manitowoc M-80W crane, S/N 810865. The contractor shall also provide qualified service personnel, tools, and required parts for future maintenance and inspection services as necessary. Future maintenance and repair calls are to be provided on scheduled and possibly emergency bases. All work is to be performed to the crane manufacturer's requirements as detailed in the service manuals for each crane, manufacturer specific training classes, and/or as noted in service bulletins. COMPETITION FOR THIS ACQUISITION IS FULL AND OPEN, UNRESTRICTED TO BUSINESS SIZE. AN OFFEROR MUST BE HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT WHEN PLACING AN OFFER/PROPOSAL PACKAGE FOR THIS ACQUISITION. REGISTRATION CAN BE COMPLETED FREE OF CHARGE AT www.sam.gov. The applicable Size Standard is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811310, with a Small Business size standard of $7.5M. SUBMITTAL DUE DATE AND TIME: The Contractor submittal packages must be received by the USACE - Chicago District Office no later than 5:00p.m. (Central time) on June 28, 2019. Please reference the subject solicitation number on all correspondence. Detailed submittal requirements are contained in the Solicitation document.
