This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District to inform interested/potential contractors of the District's imminent issue of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Package for its construction project titled, "THE CADY MARSH DITCH AND LITTLE CALUMET RIVER MUNSTER LEVEE SYSTEM PROJECTS EMERGENCY REPAIRS (LAKE COUNTY, GRIFFITH, IN 46319 AND LAKE COUNTY, MUNSTER, IN 46321) (CHICAGO DISTRICT PROJECT)" PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the Contract, the contractor will be responsible for providing emergency flood repair construction services at the Cady Marsh Ditch and Little Calumet River Munster Levee System project sites. The North American Industry System Classification Code is 237990, with a small business size standard in dollars of $36.5M. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The Solicitation package (Request for Quotation - "RFQ") will be downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Once the package is released into advertisement at this website ("Federal Business Opportunities"), interested bidders may download the full package, includes: specification and drawings files. The Solicitation package is planned for advertisement on June 7, 2019, with bids QUOTES DUE ON June 18, 2019. The Contractor is REQUIRED to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time its QUOTE is submitted to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements (Reference: FAR Subpart 4.1102 - Policy (a)).
