This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District to inform interested/potential contractors of the District's imminent issue of an Invitation for Bid Package for its construction project entitled, "VILLAGE OF GLENVIEW - GLEN OAK ACRES STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS - SECTION 219." PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will be required to install approximately 900 feet of 24-inch reinforced concrete trunk line storm sewer within the roadway right-of-way (R.O.W.) along Wagner Road from Huckleberry Lane to Del Ogier Drive. It also includes construction of a new storm trunk line storm sewer along Del Ogier Drive from Wagner Road to the existing outfall to the North Branch of the Chicago River. The North American Industry System Classification Code is 237110, with a small business size standard in dollars of $36.5M. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The Solicitation (Invitation for Bids -"IFB") will be downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY. The Solicitation package is planned for advertisement on or about July 15, 2019, with bids due on or about August 15, 2019.
