Barge and Tow Services for Safety Testing at the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal (CSSC) Fish Barriers, Romeoville, Illinois This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice for commercial items issued pursuant to FAR Part 12. Under this notice, the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District (USACE) is issuing a request for quote (RFQ) for barge and tow services for safety testing at the CSSC fish barriers located near Romeoville, Illinois. COMPETITION FOR THIS ACQUISITION IS UNRESTRICTED. The applicable Size Standard is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 483211, with a size standard of 750 employees. FAR 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns, applies to this solicitation. AN OFFEROR MUST BE HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT WHEN PLACING AN OFFER/PROPOSAL PACKAGE FOR THIS ACQUISITION.
