THIS REQUIREMENT WAS PREVIOUSLY SYNOPSIZED UNDER SOLICITATION NUMBER W912P6-19-B-0002 This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District to inform interested/potential contractors of the District's imminent issue of an Invitation for Bid Package for its construction project ntitled, "BROADVIEW SECURITY SYSTEM UPGRADES - ICE (U.S.IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT) FACILITY, BROADVIEW, COOK COUNTY, IL" PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the Contract, the contractor will be responsible for providing construction services to perform construction services to upgrade the security system for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The contractor will be responsible for replacing Electronic Security System (ESS) with a boards, three access control board cabinets, and all necessary wiring. In addition, the contract will include life safety door upgrades not limited to installation of reinforced glass window and panic crash bars. The contractor will modify the existing closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras and existing intercom system, installation of G2 perimeter security features, not limited to replacing 20' x 10' high cantilevered vehicle gate, controller and track system. In addition, the contract includes installation of radio tower 25 feet extension to support PTZ camera system. The North American Industry System Classification Code is 238210, with a small business size standard in dollars of $15.05M. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The Solicitation package (Invitation for Bids - "RFQ") will be downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Once the package is released into advertisement at this website ("Federal Business Opportunities"), interested bidders may download the full package, includes: specification and drawings files. The Solicitation package is planned for advertisement on MARCH 14, 2019, with bids QUOTES DUE ON MARCH 28, 2019.
