---------This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and information purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept bids as a result of this notice. ---------- PURPOSE: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed price contract for the Crane Rental & Operator for Periodic Inspection of Martins Fork Dam. This procurement will be solicited as a firm fixed price contract utilizing FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Supply of the Crane and operator are an integral part of periodic inspections for Martin’s Fork Dam. Without the Crane and Operator these inspections cannot occur. If these inspections are delayed or missed it could cause a significant impact to the USACE Hydropower mission. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor will be responsible for all materials, labor, supervision, and quality control necessary to supply and deliver rental crane and operator for periodic inspection of Martin’s Fork Dam that meets or exceeds the salient characteristics within the Scope of Work. DELIVERY DATE: 12 August 2024 – 15 August 2024 NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: NAICS 532412, Construction, Mining, and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing, Size Standard $40M TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: The solicitation will be 100% small business set-aside. SOLICITATION AND CONTRACT TYPE: The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price supply contract. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The anticipated release date for this solicitation is on or around 1 July 2024.
