This is not a solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this survey. This survey is for market research purposes only. Only contractors capable of performing this type of work should respond to this Request for Information. Requirement The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nashville District, anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price construction contract for Mooring Cell Number 3 Removal at Kentucky Lock near Grand Rivers, Kentucky. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The contractor shall be required to provide all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, quality control and supplies required for the removal and disposal of all material of Mooring Cell Number 3 at Kentucky Lock. The contractor is responsible for disposing fill material inside the cell and the fill material that has already escaped the cell. All the steel components of the cell will be moved and placed at the USACE Storage Yard at Barkley Dam, Cumberland River Mile 30.6 left-descending bank. The removal of the mooring cell shall be completed within 150 days of award of the contract. The Contractor will be required to provide all plant, labor, and materials to complete the project. The anticipated NAICS code is 237990- Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $45.0 million.
