PURPOSE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nashville District (LRN), intends to issue an Invitiation for Bid (IFB) for construction of Channel Modifications located near Cleveland, TN. The IFB is planned to include Ocoee Crossing Channel Modification consisting of 700 linear feet by 30-foot-wide channel modification along the right bank of Fillauer Branch, which includes but may not be limited to, channel excavation, grading, hydroseeding, concrete curb, concrete drainage structure, clearing and grubbing, pavement demolition, structural demolition, and extensive waterline exploration via potholing. Additionally, Clearwater Channel Modification consisting of 600 linear feet by 15-foot-wide channel modification along the left bank of Fillauer Branch, which includes but may not be limited to, channel excavation, grading, hydroseeding, clearing and grubbing, pavement demolition, structural demolition, and a watertight manhole lid. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: USACE, LRN, anticipates a requirement for a firm-fixed price construction contract. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, and equipment to perform the work described above in accordance with the plans and specifications provided. DELIVERY DATE: 365 calendar days after notice to proceed.
