PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed-price construction contract for This project is for a single fixed price, supply contract for the replacement of four (4) Floating Mooring Bitts for Wilson Auxiliary Lock. Optionally, the government reserves the right to purchase two (2) additional floating mooring bitts for Wilson Auxiliary Lock and/or two (2) Floating Mooring Bitts for Guntersville Auxiliary Lock. The performance period will be extended for an additional 90 calendar days for each option exercised. The Government shall have 90 calendar days from the date of contract award to exercise any options. The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, tools, equipment, shop, supervision, and quality control necessary for the work in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. Contractor shall supply a project schedule and shop drawing for approval prior to beginning the work. All parts shall be produced with the highest level of workmanship. The contractor shall provide all contract requirements within the base contract withing 180 calendar days of contract award. DISCLOSURE OF THE MAGNITUDE OF THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: Between $100,000 and $500,000.
