PURPOSE: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for all labor, services, equipment and materials to perform maintenance repairs on a Terex RT549 mobile crane located at Kentucky Lock. The contractor shall be a Terex-certified mobile crane maintenance facility and be able to perform 100% of the bid work required. This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this Notice. The Scope of Work for this Requirement will only be available upon solicitation issuance. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price commercial service contract for seven (7) repair items. The contractor shall be a Terex-certified mobile crane maintenance facility and be able to perform 100% of the bid work required. PLACE OF PICKUP: Kentucky Lock 265 Kentucky Lock Road Grand Rivers, KY 42045-9706 NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 811310 with a size standard of $8M. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: The solicitation will be 100% small business set aside. SOLICITATION AND CONTRACT TYPE: The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price service contract.
