PROJECT: Barkley Dam, Spillway Gates Mechanical & Electrical Rehab The contract resulting from this solicitation will consist of removing and replacing the existing mechanical componenents and electrical systems of the spillway gates at Barkley Dam in accordance with the plans and specifications. The NAICS code for this project is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction), with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. The magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000. The documents describing this requirement are provided by attachment and are listed in DFARS Clause 252.236-7001, contained herein. TYPE OF SET ASIDE: This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. Requirement The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nashville District, anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price construction contract for the Electrical and Mechanical Rehabilitation of the Barkley Spillway Gates for Barkley Dam at Grand Rivers, KY. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Contractor will be responsible for the following activities/items under the proposed contract: Rehabilitation of gate mechanical systems Rehabilitation of gate electrical distribution systems The Contractor will be required to provide all plant, labor, and materials to complete the project.
