The Government is issuing this Request for Information to determine a competitive basis. This is not a solicitation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this survey. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is conducting market research to get an idea of what industry is currently pricing for the inspection, repair, painting, varnishing and testing of all components of the Main and Pilot Exciters and PMG on the Unit #3 Exciter at Wolf Creek Power Plant. Repair and refurbishment procedures include washing and baking housings and armatures, replacing wiring, replacing insulators, rebuilding damaged slips rings and commutators, rebuilding damaged brushing rigging and refurbishing and the Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG). Shipping to and from the power plant shall be included in this effort.
