PURPOSE: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Quote for the fabrication and delivery of one (1) bulkhead for Wilson Lock with the inclusion of 3 options of identical bulkheads. This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this Notice. The Scope of Work for this requirement will only be available upon solicitation issuance. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price commercial supply contract. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, and equipment to fabricate and deliver one (1) bulkhead with the plans and specifications provided. PLACE OF DELIVERY: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wilson Lock Attn: Sterling Riether 704 S Wilson Dam Road Florence, AL 35630 DELIVERY DATE: Base Bid: 210 Calendar Days, Option 1: additional 90 calendar days after option is awarded, Option 2: additional 90 calendar days after option is awarded, Option 3: : additional 90 calendar days after option is awarded. NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 332312 with a size standard of 500 employees. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: The solicitation will be 100% small business set aside. SOLICITATION AND CONTRACT TYPE: The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price supply contract. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The anticipated release date for this solicitation is August 1, 2021. .
