No additional questions will be accepted following the issuance of this amendment. ***************************** END*********************************** Solicitation W912P521Q0024 is modified as described in Amendment 0001: 1. The period of performance is changed from 45 days on the SF 1442; in 52.211-10; in the Delivery and Invoice paragraph; and in the delivery date for CLIN 0001. The period of performance is changed to 154 calendar days after notification of award. 2. Revised Quote Schedule by removing Mobilization and Demobilization for pricing. 3. Under Section 0021 00- Instructions; removed Clause 252.236-7004 Payments for Mobilization and Demobilization. This clause is not needed on this project. 4. In the Scope of Work; under the Delivery and Invoice paragraph, the government contact is changed to Jackie Huff, ACO and Resident Engineer, East TN Resident Office. 5. In the Scope of Work; under the Delivery and Invoice paragraph, changed to read "delivery of invoice shall be coordinated with Jackie Huff." 6. In the Scope of Work; added a submittals paragraph for "Submit". DESCRIPTION The Contractor shall supply and install approximately 1,900 linear feet of 7 foot high Chain Link Fence with a three (3) Strand Barbed Wire Apron at top, three (3) Double Swing Gates and one (1) Single Swing Gate in accordance to Army Physical security requirements. The Contractor shall remove approximately 900 linear feet of existing chain link fence and related appurtenances at Wolf Creek Power Plant warehouse area. (See Exhibit B.) Wolf Creek Power Plant warehouse area is located at Wolf Creek Dam approximately 12 miles southwest of Jamestown, KY. (See Exhibit A). Fence and all associated materials used in this project will be new and in conjunction with Army Physical Security Requirements, UFGS 32 31 13 and United State Army Corps Engneers (USACE) drawing number STD 872-90-00 (See Exhibit C). General Requirements The intent of this Request for Quote (RFQ) is to award one (1) contract for the Wolf Creek Power Plant Warehouse Area Security Fence. Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction Project: The estimated magnitude of this requirement is between $100,000 and $250,000. Basis of Selection of Award: Award shall be made to the lowest priced offeror who is determined to be responsive and responsible. Type of Contract: The Government intends to award one (1) firm fixed-price construction contract. Who May Submit: This procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and Small Business Size Standard: The NAICS code for this project is 238990 –All Other Speciality Trade Contractors "Fencing Contractors", with a Size Standard of $16,500,000. Specifications and Drawings: Specifications, Plans and Exhibits are provided as separate files and available on www.beta.sam.gov. The Specifications, Plans and Exhibits are part of the solicitation/contract and shall be considered in that respect (see Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 252.236-7001, Contract Drawings and Specifications). Site Visit: An organized site visit has been scheduled to occur on Tuesday, 25 May 2021, 09:00 AM Central Time. Offerors should inspect the job site prior to submitting a quote. REGISTRATION: Only registered persons will be permitted to attend the site visit. In addition to the information below, please also provide your firm’s name, firm’s CAGE and/or Unique Entity Identifier (known as DUNS) number, and name and position title of primary point-of-contact and their telephone number and email address. Contractors and/or potential contractors wishing to attend a pre-bid meeting/Site Visit held at or in LRN restricted/controlled areas (such as a Power Plant or Navigation Lock) shall submit a Nashville District (LRN) Security Access Form to the Contract Specialist five (5) business days prior to the site visit or meeting. If submitting the document in less than five business days, the offeror may not receive approval for participation. The Contract Specialist will notify the Contractor if the request is approved or denied. Any pre-bid meeting which will cover anything other than public domain information shall be limited to U.S. Citizens, except under unique circumstances. This will be the only site visit for this project. If you miss the scheduled site visit, no other arrangements will be made due to personnel and time restrictions. This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
