PURPOSE: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation to dismantle, transport and set up a double wide trailer from Center Hill Dam on Lancaster Road, in Silver Point, TN to J. Percy Priest Dam and Lake in Nashville, TN in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this Notice. The Performance Work Statement for this requirement will only be available upon solicitation issuance. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price commercial service contract. In accordance with the PWS, the contractor shall dismantle, transport, and set up a double wide trailer from Center Hill Dam on Lancaster Road, in Silver Point, TN to J. Percy Priest Dam and Lake in Nashville, TN. Prior to any transporting, contractor shall properly and safely disconnect the existing utilities. This includes coordinating with the local power provider, Upper Cumberland, in safely disconnecting service line to the trailer. PLACE OF DELIVERY: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Attn: Frank Mills J. Percy Priest Dam and Lake (36.149133, -86.620351), Nashville, TN 37214. ANTICIPATED DELIVERY: 120 days after contract award. NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 484220 with a size standard of $30 million. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: The solicitation will be 100% set-aside for small business.
