USACE Nashville District intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for this requirement. This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this Notice. The plans and technical specifications for this requirement will only be available upon solicitation issuance. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District Contracting Division has a requirement for district-wide shredding service for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District (hereinafter USACE) for a period of one (1) year with four (4) more option years. Shredding may be on or off site. The contractor will provide locked containers at designated locations within USACE in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. Proposed locations, size and number of containers, along with frequency of pickups is provided on the attached. However, USACE reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of containers and/or locations, and frequency of pickups during the service period as required. If more cost effective, USACE may divide the sites into more than one contract. The contractor (and any subcontractor if applicable) must have and maintain AAA NAID certification during the life of the contract. The principle city at this location is Davidson County, Tennessee. This is a Pre-solicitation notice, the full solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 6 November 2020. This description is not intended to be all encompassing and is subject to change. NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 561990 with a size standard of $12.0M. PSC: R614 – Support-Administrative: Paper Shredding TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: The solicitation will be 100% Small Business set-aside. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm-Fixed Price. BASIS FOR SELECTION OF AWARD: Award shall be made to the lowest priced vendor who is found to be responsible. The quote must meet or exceed the technical specifications and deliver schedule to be considered for award. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The anticipated release date for this solicitation is on or about 6 November 2020. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Offerors must be successfully registered in the SAM, www.sam.gov, in order to receive a Government contract award. Offerors’ must have their representations and certifications available on-line in SAM or provide them with their proposal in order to receive a Government contract award. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Specific information pertaining to this procurement will be available in the solicitation.
